Dark Rooms

Not related to the band directly but worth of mentioning is that Amir (guitars, vox) has released an comic book with his long time friend Majo Pavlovic titled "Mracne sobe" (Dark Rooms). The comic book has been released by one of the best book publishing houses in Bosnia, BUYBOOK and it can be bought in their bookstores as well in some other distribution places. Also, it will be distributed in Croatia and Serbia.
The comic is divided into 8 short stories (four by Majo and four by Amir) and all of the stories are telling about the post war trauma and psychotic effects the war has coused. It isn't a commercial comic book but rather an art form of the graphic story telling. All of the stories are written in Bosnian.

"Legends of an Old Grave" on VINYL!

In march of this year it will be 10 years since the band was formed and to celebrate the aniversary Zero Budget Prods and Walk Records will release our latest album "Legends of an Old Grave" on vinyl!!!
There will be 300 gold LP's and 200 regular black LP's with the new artwork! Since the cd version is almost sold out, make sure to secure this exclusive piece of plastic in time! It will be a second metal vinyl release in Bosnia after 18 years (first one has been released by German label NON-Salvation, KRV's album "Ponor").

A gig in Slavonski Brod (Cro)

Silent Kingdom is confirmed for a concert in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, which will take place on 20th December. Other bands that will perform are: Infernal War, Incipit Kaos, WarHead.
Live on "Festival prijateljstva"

On sunday august the 3rd band will perform live on "Festival prijateljstva" in Gorazde along with Kultur Shock from USA. This is the band's first gig in two years and it will be oportunity for you to hear some new stuff!
The new album is now re-scheduled for september due to mixing and producing of the album. It took much more time than we expected. Anyway, there will be also a special limited digipack version of the album so preorders will soon be possible.

Studio report

Here we are after a long break :) We've been in studio for a couple of months now and things are going very well. We recorded 6 out of 8 tracks. Album should be finished till the end of may and it should be relesed in june by Zero Budget Productions and Walk Records as announced earlier.
Castle Fest - Serbia

Band will perform live on Castle Festival which will be held in Smederevo, Serbia, together with Judas Priest, Bombarder, Helloween and many others. Festival will be held from 1-st to 5-th July.

Band entered the Radio Sarajevo Studio

Band has entered the Radio Sarajevo Studio to record it's third official album titled "Legends of an Old Grave". First guitar tracks are laid down with Emir Saracevic behind the recording console and everything sounds more than promissing.

15.10.07. As you can see site is back online. It's not completely finished but it will be in next couple of weeks.
Concerning the release of our next album, it will probably be released by Walk Records but since we're in process of negotiation with couple of labels it might happen that two labels release it.
We want to thank to all of our fans for support (we're recieving a lot of e-mails lately with questions about our upcoming album) and we hope that we will fulfill your expectations. The album should be out in April 2008 and it will be the whole new chapter in SK music continuing the Reflections of Fire path. The title of the upcoming album will be announced soon on these pages so visit the site frequently for more info.

New album stats...

05.12.06. Band is currently working on new songs and recording a demo version of each song. 'Till now three songs are composed and in
process of recording for our internal use. Acording to our planns all of the songs will be finished untill the end of 2007 when we will enter the studio to record the album.
In the mean time, as mentioned before, we are preparing the collector's edition of our first two demos on one cd.
Also we have done an interview for Turkish Impact Drill zine (thanks Semih). It was an interesting interview and we are planning to put all of the interviews, that we did during all of those past years, online.

First two demos on one CD
11.10.2006.
11.10.06. Since both, Silent Kingdom and Walk Records, had a lot of questions from fans concerning first two demos of SK, Walk Rec. decided to re-release Fields of Dream (originally released on tape - July 1999) and Visions From Forgotten Land (CD - December 1999) on one CD as a collector's edition titled When Night Spoke to Day.
Both albums are digitally remastered and the sound is much better. Along with a new frontcover there will be a color booklet with lyrics from both albums so that new fans could see (and hear) what we played eight years ago. Also, we have reached agreement with Walk Rec. about the price so we think that CD won't be too expensive. Release of this CD is scheduled for the end of 2006 or in the first few months of 2007.

06.10.06. Silent Kingdom has a new member in its frontline and his name is Amir Cefo. He will take care of keyboard arrangements on future SK albums.
